<reviewbody>This is a well-made film. I am fairly sure I've seen movies as entertaining, but I can't think of any. Maybe the proper comparison is to short stories.

Attractive locations to film in, from the very beginning. Genuinely humorous in various tiny ways, rather than being a well lubricated funny-machine. Mature enough to break some suspension of disbelief; in the one jarring scene which had a truly bad special effect, the camera actually lingered on it to show how bad it was. I think these various touches are worth valuing.

Incidentally, after watching this, you might want to see the recent Dawn of the Dead. Another film which didn't try punishing you for being a little thoughtful; it had some holes but I personally think they were small and weren't taken advantage of. I'm told the older Romero version is better, but I haven't yet had time to find out.

As an aside, hopefully something disruptive will happen to the conventional film industry so not everything has to fit within inappropriate constraints. How many incredible films haven't I heard of because they didn't fit in that two-hour format designed to please large audiences near any given theater?</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I like the way it blurs the concept of family, love, and ones hunamity. </reviewbody>
